Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, it is emailed to us and a copy is stored in our mail system. We use it only to answer you. To protect the form against automated abuse, your browser solves a short computing puzzle (a "proof of work") checked by our own service at rampart.felicity.tools; this involves no personal data beyond your IP address.
Newsletter
To subscribe, you must accept this Privacy Policy. We then send you an email with a confirmation link. You are subscribed only after you open the link and confirm. We record when you subscribed and when you confirmed, as a record of your consent. If you ask again before confirming, we do not send another confirmation email for 15 minutes.
You can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge, with the unsubscribe link in every newsletter. The confirmation and unsubscribe pages are not tracked by our analytics.
Website analytics
We count visits with Matomo, run on our own analytics servers in Hungary. Matomo is set up without cookies: it stores nothing on your device and does not identify you. We do not combine analytics data with any other data we hold about you. See the Cookies Policy for the one cookie the website uses and the third-party services your browser connects to.
Who can see your data
Only those FeliCity employees and contractors who need your data to do their work. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We disclose it to public authorities only when the law requires it and the authority states the purpose and the data it needs. We host the website and run its infrastructure ourselves, so no outside provider has access to your data.
How we protect your data
We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, change, disclosure, loss and destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), limits on how often a form can be sent, and protection of every form against cross-site request forgery.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access: find out whether we process your data, get a copy of it, and learn the purpose, the recipients, how long we keep it and where it came from.
- Rectification: have incorrect or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure: have your data deleted when we no longer need it, when you withdraw your consent, when you object and we have no overriding reason, or when it was processed unlawfully. This right does not apply where we must keep the data by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Restriction: have us only store your data, and not otherwise use it, while you contest its accuracy, when processing is unlawful but you do not want it deleted, when you need it for a legal claim, or while we consider your objection.
- Data portability: receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and have it sent to another controller.
- Objection: object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest. We then stop, unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or need the data for a legal claim.
- Withdrawal of consent: withdraw your consent at any time, for example with the unsubscribe link of the newsletter. This does not affect processing before the withdrawal. We delete the data within 30 days.
We make no automated decisions about you and do no profiling.
