felicity.tools uses one cookie, a security cookie for its forms. It uses no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and no third-party cookies.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies set by the website you visit are first-party cookies. Cookies set by other websites are third-party cookies.

Because this cookie is strictly necessary for a service you ask for, we do not need your consent for it. It is not used to identify you, and we use it for no other purpose.
Analytics without cookies
We count visits with Matomo, run on our own analytics servers in Hungary. Matomo is set up without cookies: it stores nothing on your device and does not identify you. The newsletter confirmation and unsubscribe pages are not tracked. See the Privacy Policy for the data analytics processes.
Third-party services
The map in the footer of every page is loaded only when you scroll to it. Its map tiles come from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org) and its terrain from the Terrain Tiles open dataset of Amazon Web Services (s3.amazonaws.com). These services set no cookies. Your browser connects to them, so they receive your IP address and the address of the page you are on.
How to control cookies
You can delete cookies and block them in your browser settings. aboutcookies.org explains how for the common browsers. If you block the security cookie, the forms of this website will not work.
